Thank you Lighthouse Point Fire Station. Today was the Free Health Fair from Broward Health! I volunteer every year fir this event.
While I was tending to everyone who was coming in for their free screenings for Cholesterol screening and Blood Pressure, EKG and Carotid checks, one of the fire fighters took my son on a tour. He was in heaven. He got to go up into the building, the fire truck, ambulance and more.
I think he was gone for an hour. He came back with a grin from ear to ear. So thank you for taking the time with him. I very much appreciate it and he just loved it.

K1 Speed Electric Indoor Go Kart Racing
You looking for an Indoor Go Kart place? Well do I have the place for you! These are electric go karts. You don't have the fumes from the gas powered go karts.
These little karts are very fast, and your first time around you need to take it cautiously, but once you have the feel for it, it gets addicting. I have been to both of the indoor go kart places. I tend to think K1 speeds is the better of the two because of the fumes. They have a small cafe with pool tables in the back!They hold birthday parties here, corporate parties and more. When you are ready to hold an event, try K1 Speed!
They are located in Hollywood, right off of Stirling just west of I95. You can't miss it, its on the south side of Stirling.

Fortune Dragon is my favorite Chinese resturant, in Tamarac. I have been going here for over 8 years. Jose has become a great friend and has seen my kids grow up right before his eyes. Here in this picture he was showing the kids a magic trick.
The kids went with me to pick up our food because they were trying to raise money for their school, and of course, Jose gave to the kids, because he is a great guy like that. If you go and eat, please tell him I said hi.
